Preaching on Mark 11:1-11, Senior Pastor Rev. Marty Vershel asks that we look beyond our familiarity wit this scripture simply as a Palm Sunday passage. Comparing this passage to the other Gospels, Marty wants us to consider Jesus' act of returning the donkey. Could it be that Jesus returning the donkey is a call for us to reflect on what we need to return? Or, to put it another way, what do you and I need to release? What do we need to let go?
