From Rev. Marty Vershel, "Advent Conspiracy was founded on the radical idea that we can celebrate Christmas humbly, beautifully, and generously. Advent is the story of a wondrous moment when God entered our world to make things right. It is the greatest story ever told and it changes everything—including the way we celebrate Christmas. This Advent let’s do things differently as we Worship Fully, Spend Less, Give More and Love All."

Who does God value? Preaching on Matthew 25:31-46, Rev. Marty Vershel highlights Christ the King Sunday. For Marty, the question isn't "What would Jesus do?" Rather, the question becomes "What would Jesus want me to do?" If Christ is actually your King, then you will love as God loves, give as God gives and forgive as God forgives. If you value what God values, then you will live the life Jesus calls us to live. According to this parable, who does God value? He values the least, the last and the lost. He values the one that the world pushes to the margins. He values the divorced, the addicted, the one who drives you crazy and makes your blood boil. He values the liberal and the conservative, the rich and the poor, the good, the bad and the gay and the straight. All of us. He values us because we are all the least, the last and the lost.
